disabilities to reflect on, gain insight into and make sense of their experiences so that
they can make realistic career choices and reduce the risk and sense of failure.
What Can I Get Out of a D.I.C.E. Assessment?
D.I.C.E. Assessment & Employment Counselling Services augments existing
programs currently offered by employment and career counselling centres by providing a
comprehensive summary of the nature of the disability, its influence on work performance, and
accommodations that would be needed in the workplace.
D.I.C.E. (Disability Impact on Career/Employment)
assessments can provide service providers with insight into their clients' needs and
conditions so that they meet their quota of successful job placements and ensure continued
government funding.

five dimensions to provide a comprehensive profile of the person's abilities and
challenges:
Disability Profile: how the disability manifests itself physically and
psychologically
Strengths Profile: natural abilities, skills and qualities
Careers Accentuating Disability: employment in which disability interfered
with job performance
Careers Emphasizing Strengths: employment in which aptitudes and strengths
